Project: BT Network Maintenance
Scope: Managed service maintenance contract Client: BT on behalf of O2 and 3 Location: Ireland/Nationwide Date: 2010 – Ongoing (O2 from 2005) Requirements: BT require an experienced and competent partner to provide a comprehensive managed service maintenance contract for their clients’ network infrastructure. This involves provision of rigging, field engineering, compound maintenance, air-conditioning, generator and electrical maintenance services for 3,000+ BTS sites and 8 main Switching Centres on the O2 and 3 networks. Obelisk were successful in winning this contract and continue their maintenance services on the O2 network, which began in 2005. Solution: Obelisk provides a strong team of project managers and engineers , located countrywide, with the necessary skills to ensure that all services are provided on a 24×7x365 basis within the required response times and budget, in line with BT’s closely monitored service level agreements.
Obelisk Impact: Obelisk is delivering the service in a very effective manner, meeting all requirements of BT and its clients. In conjunction with the successful implementation of this maintenance service, Obelisk continues as main maintenance service provider for numerous other Telecoms companies including ESB Telecoms, Smart Telecom, Quinn Group. |
