Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for site inspections, test, fault diagnostics and on-going maintenance of mobile telecommunications infrastructure.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Responsible for site inspections, test, fault diagnostics and on-going maintenance of mobile telecommunications infrastructure.
Faultfinding & diagnostics on GSM/DCS/UMTS and Microwave Radio utilising Anritsu SiteMaster equipment.
Installation of Ceragon Equipment
  • Inspection and test of Microwave links
  • Running feeders, earthing, labeling, testing of feeder cables.
  • Inspection and test of ODUs, Splitters and IDUs.
  • CPN testing (BER testing)
  • Audit of rigging installation including structural and civil areas.
  • Adhere to applicable Health & Safety laws, policies and best practice guidelines
Personal Specification

Essential:

  • 2 – 4 years in a similar working environment. Proven relevant experience.
  • MEWP training, qualifications to work at heights
  • Advanced Climbing (Troll or equivalent certification)
  • Ericsson Equipment Cert.
  • Working knowledge of networks using wireless technologies e.g. PDH, SDH
  • PC Literate (Proficient in MS Office) with good reporting and communication skills.

Field Engineer

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Installation, Commissioning, and maintenance of the following Microwave radio systems:
    • Stratex Eclipse
    • Ericsson Mini-Link E, Traffic Node & Hi-Cap
    • NSN Sral-xD
    • Carry out LOS surveys
  • Compile Reports and Handover documentation
  • Adhere to applicable Health & Safety laws, policies and best practice guidelines.
  • Installation and commissioning of RBSs (2G & 3G)
Personal Specification

Essential:

Job Description

Job Summary:
To assist our Construction Manager in the development of Mobile telecommunication infrastructure working in a time sensitive and deadline driven environment. To oversee the construction of sites on a day-to-day basis and report to the Construction Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site surveys
  • Interface with designers and landlords
  • Oversee subcontractors and take responsibility for the construction of sites, and act as point of interface for all suppliers/contractors involved in the site development process
  • Liaising with and managing subcontractors to ensure successful deliver of sites against a range of safety, quality and cost parameters

Personal Specification

Essential:

  • Degree or Diploma in applicable Engineering discipline, Civil or Construction
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in the industry
  • The ability to maintain a high level of productivity; with strong construction method knowledge

Acquisitions Agent

 

Job Title: Acquisitions Agent

Job Summary:
Overseeing the identification and acquisition of Radio Base Station sites. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation, communications, and interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive instructions to search a given area and identify sites suitable for development as a radio base station
  • Determine site development feasibility, property ownership liase with landowners to establish site suitability.
  • Obtain appropriate approvals to gain access to properties.
  • Report to the Client with several options in the given area.
  • Receive instructions to progress the acquisition of the client’s preferred option.
  • Negotiate and agree Heads of Terms with the Site Provider and / or their Agent.
  • Progress the agreement with the Site Provider and the Client’s Solicitor up to completion of a formal Agreement. (Draft lease/sales agreements; determine titles, zoning and building permit requirements)
  • Support and liase with the Town Planning (Local Authorities) in securing planning consent for the development.
  • Liase with the Design Team in the production of a scheme for development acceptable to the Site Provide, Client and Local Authorities (Planning Office)
Personal Specification
  • Experience within the telecommunications industry essential.
  • Background in lease negotiation and property management. Knowledge of local law related to property rights and lease obligations.
  • Understanding of planning processes and Planning Authorities agencies.
  • Excellent public relations skills, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy essential.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and poised manner and overcome objections.
  • Well-developed leadership and people management competence with a team building emphasis.
  • Strong communication skills and be confident working within a fast paced environment.
