Requirements: Obelisk Networks has been selected as a prime subcontractor to Ericsson LMI for the delivery of Meteor’s 3G network. This three year contract see’s Obelisk Networks delivering end to end ADC (acquisition, design and construction) ensuring that Meteor achieves it’s ComReg License obligations.

Solution: Obelisk is responsible for the end to end delivery of sites from receipt of search rings based on the Meteor radio plan through to final site integration and testing comprising both upgrades and new macro sites (rooftops, greenfields and co-locations). Our scope of work in this project includes:

• Complete Site Design incl Specialist Concealment Solutions where appropriate
• Site Construction, Rigging & Testing
• Supply of materials
• Transmission Link I&C
• RBS (Node B) I&C

• Logistics & Warehousing incl pre-delivery diagnostic test

Obelisk Impact: Obelisk has committed significant resources in successfully meeting the aggressive rollout targets with high quality sites that meet both the Ericsson LMI and Meteor specification and expectations. The challenging programme demands strong project management skills coupled with a high technical ability and Obelisk is continuing to deliver on time and within budget.
