Obelisk Group's Renewable division has appointed Mark Evans as its new head of operations and maintenance.

Mark joins from Nordex Energy where he was field operations manager for Ireland.  Prior to this he has been an operations manager for Agility Electricity in Queensland & Western Australia, and a project manager on contracts with NIE, ESB & Scottish Power.  He brings with him over 20 years experience of working in the energy, renewable and electrical construction sectors.

Padraig Brady, managing director of Obelisk Group commented: “We are very pleased to have attracted someone of Mark’s broad experience for the role.  Our operations and maintenance division is a strategic and growing area for us and we need a safe pair of hands to manage it.”
