From day-one of the year our priority has been clear: every person should return home safe and well. Thanks to our teams on site, in maintenance, in logistics and across our offices, we maintained our strong safety discipline. With expanded operations across telecoms and renewables infrastructure, often in challenging environments, it’s the vigilance, the toolbox talks, the near-miss reporting and proactive intervention that made the difference. We reaffirmed that safety is not a barrier to performance — it’s a foundation for it.
Environment & Sustainability
As a leading engineering partner delivering telecoms and renewable-energy infrastructure solutions in Ireland and the UK, Obelisk is genuinely committed to reducing our own footprint while enabling others to decarbonise. This year we stepped up our environmental programs, from vehicle fleet and subcontractor mobilisations to material use optimisation and waste-management protocols. Our growth in the renewables sector is matched by a mindset of stewardship — of the sites we build, the communities we serve and the planet we share.
Quality & Delivery
Quality remains in our DNA. Since our founding in 1996 we’ve grown to deliver end-to-end managed solutions across telecoms and renewables, now maintaining thousands of sites and building hundreds of telecoms infrastructure locations.
This year, our deliverables met specification, on time and in budget, and our internal audits and client feedback reflect that the Obelisk standard is being upheld even as we scale. Our service-line teams, project managers, engineers and supply-chain professionals all played their part.
Team Culture — Our True Competitive Edge
But the numbers, the reports and the checklists only tell part of the story. The real strength of Obelisk lies in our people and how we collaborate. Across our Ireland and UK footprint we saw real examples of teamwork, mentorship, innovation and a “can-do” attitude that refuses to accept “good enough.” Whether it was pulling together during a complex site mobilisation, rapidly adapting to a client’s change request, or sharing learnings after a near-miss to avoid repetition — the culture we live makes the difference.
This festive week, as many of us take a well-earned break, and our on call teams sit ready and prepared for what may come, we want to say: thank you. Thank you to every team member, every subcontractor partner, every support-function colleague. Thank you for keeping safety front-of-mind, for embracing quality in every detail, for respecting our environment and communities, and for building the kind of culture that means we’re not just doing infrastructure — we’re raising the standard.
Looking Ahead
In 2026 we’ll continue to build, maintain and support critical infrastructure — but we’ll also accelerate our SHEQ ambitions. More digital tools for safety monitoring, deeper sustainability integrations, further professional development for our people, and even stronger quality assurance processes. With the foundation we’ve laid together this year, the next chapter is ours.
